As one of FTTC's most prominent partners, The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) has met with H.E. Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade to discuss means of boosting its cooperation with FTTC.
The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation is a multinational trade financing institution and a member of the Islamic Development Bank Group established to enhance and promote trade and trade cooperation among member countries of the Organization of Islamic Conference (“OIC”)
As a member of the Islamic Development Bank Group, it has unique access to governments and work as a facilitator to mobilize private and public resources to achieve a measurable impact on trade and development. The ITFC helps businesses in Islamic countries gain better access to trade finance and provides them with the necessary education and training to compete successfully in the global marketplace.
FTTC signed a cooperation agreement with ITFC to provide training in several areas; Export Marketing Techniques and Strategies ,Export Trade Information and Market Analysis, Export Marketing Research, Financing Terms of Payment and INCOTERMS and Participation in specialized Trade Fairs /Exhibitions.
"After our meeting with H.E. The Minister , The ITFC wishes to enhance and continue its cooperation with FTTC and develop its capacity , in order to provide training for a number of Arab countries" stated Dr. Walid El Wohaib, Chief Executive of ITFC.
